I often get questions from my clients about eye makeup application. Well, here are some of my tips to do your eye makeup beautifully !

 

1. DO YOUR EYE MAKEUP FIRST.

Do your eyes fist before you do the rest of your makeup to avoid fall-out from the eye shadows.

2. USE CONCEALER AS AN EYESHADOW/BASE

I personally don’t use a primer. I prefer to use a small amount of concealer onto the lids to give the shadows grip. Sometimes I even use a darker shade of the concealer as a shadow/base when I’m in a rush. For example smokey eyes, I use a concealer in dark brown as a base to create smokey eyes.

 

3. START WITH LIGHT SHADE

Start with light shade as a transition color, you can add dimension as you go with the darker colors and tones and blend! If you prefer a natural look, you can use a bronzer that you use on your cheeks as your eyeshadow.

4. BLEND BLEND BLEND

Have 2 clean blending brushes ready and make sure to diffuse the edges of the shadow with some blending. Just keep blending, blending, and blending until everything is seamlessly blended.

If you pulled the shadow out too far just buff away with a damp beauty blender or if you want to create a winged look use a makeup wipes and just wipe them away and wing it! When you blended too far and made them big, you can use a translucent powder and buff them away with a clean blending brush.
