PRO TIPS FOR LONG-LASTING MAKEUP! ”FACE”
  • Post Category:Beauty

Well let’s start with how to find the right foundation shade! Your neck is hidden by the sun so forget about the neck. look at the color of your chest in the daylight if you don’t want your face to disconnect from your body…

1 Nourish the face

Preparing your skin before you apply makeup is the most important thing to have long-lasting makeup. Start by using toner and cotton and remove all the extra excess oil on your face to have a clean face, and then apply moisturizer, (for mature skin I also recommend to use hyaluronic serum too) and sunscreen! So for these skincare steps, I like to use the hands because body temperature helps the skincare products to melt into the skin. Also, don’t forget to have a good angle of the mirror! It really matters.

2. Apply powder over your primer

Apply a very small amount of powder with a brush over the primer or foundation is going to create a very smooth velvety base with a foundation on top of. If you are having a very special event or wedding this is a really good trick!

3. Apply concealer before the foundation

Applying concealer before foundation helps determine how much foundation you need instead of applying layers and layers foundation. LESS PRODUCTS ARE THE BETTER.

4. Apply cream blush, bronzer, contour underneath a lightweight foundation.

Applying a cream blush, bronzer, contour underneath a lightweight foundation will be creating that natural contouring effect from within that we all want. You don’t want harsh contour like yes I did contour my face. I like to use a brush and sponge for the application. If you look in any makeup artist’s kit, it’s almost guaranteed you will find beauty blender. Blending is the KEY for every makeup application!

5. Use a small amount of pressed powder to set the face and translucent powder with a dumped beauty lender.

I always use 2types of face powder. I like to use pressed powder to set the face while using a translucent powder to set the under eyes, bridge of the nose, and forehead.

Finally, use a setting spray to set the face and your good to go!

Hopefully, this will help you and in my next post, It will be about the EYE MAKEUP!so stay tuned if you’re interested and please follow my blog for more free pro makeup tips!
